About CEREC

This state-of-the-art technology is made possible through the use of a 3D camera, which is used to create a visual impression of your existing tooth. For patients, this means there is no need for physical impressions to be made. Next, your dentist will use CAD software to create a customized crown for your tooth. When your dentist is finished creating your crown, the design is sent to the on-site milling machine. In roughly 10 minutes, the milling machine will create a ceramic crown that has been color-matched and is ready for placement. Lastly, your dentist will fit, polish and bond the crown in place. All it takes is one visit to our office!
